"I am on my way home," Johnson said. "I loved the visit. What I liked the most is what the coaches are going to have me doing and the position that they are going to put me in. They are going to help me try to get to the next level.
"I also liked the information about the education at Nebraska. They graduate 96% of their players. You aren't just going to go and play football. You are going to get your degree too."
Johnson said that everything looked good to him when he was taking his tour and hearing about what Nebraska had to offer him as a player and a student. But, there was one part of the trip that did shock him a little bit.
"I didn't know that Nebraska has sold out every home game since the 60s. That shocked me. That kind of shocked me a little bit."
The facilities typically get a high rating from recruits when they see them on their visits and Johnson was no different. He saw all brand new facilities as well as stadium expansion that were going on in Lincoln.
"Their facilities are great. They have a new weight room, their locker room looked real good, they are adding onto the stadium and the jumbotron was impressive too"
Getting Johnson in town for an unofficial visit was huge for the Huskers, but getting a chance to host Johnson now might also have a positive effect on getting Johnson back for an official visit.
"Yeah, I probably will go back for an official visit. This visit was a "10". The whole visit was great. Nothing could have been better. Everything was a "10"."
