Joseph ready to see LA DB

Nebraska class of 2012 signee Alonzo Moore is qualified - now getting him on the same page after missing five to six practices will be the challenge.

Lincoln, NE - Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini confirmed the news on Wednesday night that Louisiana product Alonzo Moore was cleared by the NCAA.

Now the hard part begins.

Moore is expected to hit Lincoln sometime Thursday or Friday and the coaching staff will have the challenge of getting him up to speed - especially Nebraska secondary coach Terry Joseph.

"Going down in the spring to see him play, he's another long and athletic guy," said Joseph. "I'm really happy he qualified. He busted his tail to get it done.

"I can't say what we are going to do with him until I see where he's exactly at. He was probably a little light the last time I saw him, so hopefully we can pack some weight on him and Coach Dobson can earn his money."

Moore was a standout on the offensive side of the football in high school, ranking as a three-star wide receiver out of high school.
