Nebraska's Tim Miles and crew picked up their first commitment in the nation's No. 27 small forward - Nick Fuller.

The wait for the first 2013 commit for the Nebraska basketball team is over.

Big Red Report has confirmed Sun Prairie high school (WI) small forward Nick Fuller has committed to play for Nebraska. The soon to be senior exchanged a text message with Big Red Report on Friday afternoon. The Lincoln Journal was first to report the news.

At 6-foot-6, 175 pounds, Nebraska's main competition was Minnesota according to the LJS. Fuller is currently the No. 27 small forward in the Fox Sports NEXT Class of 2013 rankings.

As a junior last season, he averaged 23 points and eight rebounds a game.

"The versatility is what a lot of the coaches notice," Fuller told HawkeyeInsider.com in May. "I can shoot the three and also post up when I have a smaller guy on me."

More to come on Big Red Report later today.
