Quick Hitter: Rose transfer complete

Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini confirmed the transfer of Jonathan Rose on Saturday.

Former Auburn defensive back Jonathan Rose's transfer to Nebraska is complete. Head coach Bo Pelini confirmed the news after the Huskers practice on Saturday morning.

"Jonathan Rose is in Lincoln, he's on our football team, he's on scholarships, and things got cleared with the NCAA," said Pelini.

"I've watched him coming out when he was getting recruited, he's a very talented young man. He's a good corner who is a good get for us. We're happy to have him."

A former All-American, Rose was the nation's No. 14 cornerback in the 2011 recruiting class.

An early high school graduate, Rose enrolled early at Auburn, earning playing time in eight contests as a true freshman in 2011.
