"We have a game on Friday," Williams said. "I want to forget about all of the stuff that went on this summer and get my senior year started. I want to get ready to go to college.
"I want to hit someone other than my teammates. I have been just wrapping up now the past few weeks. I want to be able to hit some people, take them to the ground and celebrate."
Williams is ready for Friday night, but he's also ready for Saturday too. He will be boarding a plane headed for Nebraska for his first official visit. Williams says that three teams stand out right now to him the most.
"I am going on an official visit to Nebraska this weekend. I am going to go to West Virginia and Michigan State too. I am going to take all five visits before I make a commitment."
Williams has some good connections back to Nebraska. Assistant coach Rick Kaczenski went to Cathedral Prep and knows Williams' mom personally. Williams has developed good relationships with a couple of other coaches in Lincoln as well.
"I want to see some things at Nebraska that I have never seen before. I heard that they have a good program, nice football facilities and the school is awesome.
"I have had a lot of people tell me that there will be nothing but fields there. I don't care. My decision is about how successful I am going to be once I leave there.
"Coach Kaczenski is from Cathedral Prep and he went to St. John's with my mom. A lot of people are telling me that Nebraska is the perfect choice for me. I also talk with Coach John Papuchis and Coach Terry Joseph too.
