Walker considering Nebraska visit

The Wisconsin game is shaping up to be a huge recruiting weekend for Nebraska. The Huskers will break out their alternate uniforms for their Big Ten home opener and in the stands could be some of their most important uncommitted recruits. This recruit is on the fence about making the trip. When will he know if he will visit Lincoln?

Dominic Walker from Orlando (Flor.) Evans has been listed as a commitment to Vanderbilt since late June. Walker's name has come up as a possible visitor for Nebraska in late September.

"I am considering it," Walker said. "I don't know if I am going to go on that visit or not."

Walker says that the offensive coordinator for Nebraska, Coach Tim Beck, has been the coach that has been contacting him and encouraging him to take a visit.

"Coach Beck tells me about how much I will like Nebraska and what it's like on game days. He said that I will really like it if I visited."

As of right now Walker has about three weeks to figure out if he will make it to Nebraska for the Wisconsin game. He says that he will know more in the next couple of weeks.

"I'd say that it's about 50-50 that I take the trip that weekend. I will probably know the week of the visit or so if I am going to make that trip."
