Love and McWilson check out Ohio State?

Nebraska didn't have any official visitors this weekend, but two of their prized recruits were on-hand for another Big Ten game today. Both Marcus McWilson and Courtney Love from Youngstown (Ohio) Cardinal Mooney were in Columbus, Ohio to see Ohio State take on California today.

Youngstown (Ohio) Cardinal Mooney is back on track. Marcus McWilson says that Cardinal Mooney won their game on Friday night 41-15 and he had a big part in their victory on both sides of the football.

"We played last night," McWilson said. "We won 41-15 and we are 2-2 on the season now. Hopefully we are back on the right track and headed toward another state title.

"I am playing on both sides of the ball. I am playing a little wide receiver and running back. Last night I had 131 yards rushing on just seven carries so I was pretty proud of that. I had a few tackles too and an interception. They are moving me around a lot on defense."

Both McWilson and Cardinal Mooney linebacker Courtney Love have official visit plans set up to see Nebraska in two weeks. McWilson was in Lincoln for the spring game, which was rained out, and he's looking forward to that game day environment.

"We are going up on that Friday. It's our bye week. I was in Lincoln for the spring game, but it rained and the game was canceled. I want to see what a game environment is like and get a chance to talk to some more of the players and the coaches again."

While McWilson and Love will only take that official visit that won't be the only collegiate game they see this fall. In fact, McWilson said that both he and Love were in the stands today for the Ohio State - California game.

"Yeah we were there for the game today. My half-brother is actually like an academic adviser for Cal. We were there for him and not for Ohio State. It was a great game to go and see though.

"It's just one of those situations when someone assumes it's something more and you know how people get when they start talking and pointing the finger. He lives in California and I don't get to see him very often."
