Love ready to see some Nebraska games

The big recruiting news out of the weekend for Nebraska wasn't about official visitors in Lincoln because there weren't any. Some information started to come out that a pair of Nebraska commitments were in Columbus (Ohio) to see the Ohio State/California game.

Nebraska coaches and fans can relax about yesterday's news of Marcus McWilson and Courtney Love attending the Ohio State - California game in Columbus (Ohio). Courtney Love Sr. says the trip was completely innocent.

"You have to understand that we just love football," Love Sr. said. "Ohio State is the in-state school and we were in the stands and not on the sideline. Marcus's brother is on the Cal staff. He was wearing Cal gear in the stands."

That being said, this won't be the last time this season that the Love family will be at a game in Columbus. It just so happens that they will see Nebraska on back to back weeks real soon.

"We are going to be in Columbus again on October 6th. We will be in the stands watching the Nebraska game. That game is the weekend after our official visit to Nebraska for the Wisconsin game."

In other words Nebraska fans, there isn't anything to worry about. Love Sr. says that his son is firmly committed to Nebraska and is very much looking forward to getting to Lincoln as soon as possible.

"Courtney just wants to get to Lincoln. We are actually waiting on getting an itinerary from Nebraska for what is expected of Courtney because he's coming to Lincoln in January. He can't wait to get there."
