Williams has to reschedule

Nebraska didn't host any official visitors last weekend mostly because of the early start time. The 2:30 start time in Lincoln isn't a lot easier if the recruit can't get away until Saturday morning. Delton Williams from Erie (Pa.) Cathedral Prep was going to be doing just that, but now won't be making it at all now.

Scratch Delton Williams from the Nebraska official visitor list for this weekend. The 6-foot-2 and 200-pound safety/athlete prospect for Nebraska was tentatively set to visit Nebraska a number of times in the past including this coming weekend.

"I have to reschedule," Williams just told BigRedReport.com. "I was going to play on Friday night and leave Saturday morning from Buffalo. I have some things that I have to take care that morning that's school related."

Nebraska fans anticipated Williams making it to Big Red Weekend in June and again for the home opener before this weekend. Now Williams is saying that Nebraska and he are talking about another game in the next few weeks that has a later start time.

"I think that it's going to be for the Michigan game now. I think that the next couple of games in Lincoln after this weekend are night games. That will give me more time to get up there. I am definitely going to visit. I want to see what Nebraska has to offer."

Williams isn't the only player rescheduling his official visit to see Nebraska for the Michigan game weekend. Nebraska commitment, Zach Hannon from Kansas City (Mo.) Rockhurst, told BigRedReport.com earlier in the week that he was no longer coming in for the Wisconsin game and it would likely be the Michigan game.
