Alexander sets up official visit to Nebraska

One of the best cornerbacks in the nation has been in the news a lot lately. There has been a lot of discussion about a new list of favorites and who is on top. Mackensie Alexander from Immokalee (Flor.) just confirmed with that he will be taking a trip to see Lincoln in October.

The No. 5 rated cornerback and a four-star prospect according to Fox Sports NEXT will be in Lincoln in October for an official visit. Mackensie Alexander from Immokalee (Flor.) verified over text message that he has set up a trip to see Nebraska.

"I will visit on week 9," Alexander said. "That is the Michigan game."

In a recent interview with Dave Berk from Fox Sports NEXT Alexander mentions Nebraska as a team that is right there in the mix on his leader board at the moment.

"Right now I feel Boise State is fighting for second and they are right there with Notre Dame and fighting for it. Also Nebraska is right there in the mix and there is some other schools right there in the mix that I'm going to keep to myself."

If you look at the list that Nebraska is putting together for the Michigan game you will see a very good group of players. That list includes five-star cornerback Priest Willis, four-star defensive end and Georgia commitment Naim Mustafaa, three-star center Scott Quessenberry and Nebraska commitments Jonathan Cook, Kevin Gladney and Zach Hannon.
