Hunt set for official visit No. 1

With a big game Friday night and his first official visit planned as well, this is a huge weekend for Westlake (Calif.) defensive back Dashon Hunt.

Dashon Hunt is one of the region's top two-way players excelling at cornerback and running back. He's a three year starter for the Warriors and although a talented runner, will likely play on the defensive side of the ball.

Westlake, currently 3-2 on the season, is struggling a bit losing their last two games. They play a very good St. Bonaventure team that was a two-point conversion away from beating Santa Margarita, the No. 2 team in the state, last weekend.

"It's going to be a very tough game," Hunt said. "They have a real good team this year. We had a great week of practice and studied real hard for this game so I know we're ready. It should turn out to be a great game."

Saturday, Hunt will head out to Nebraska to see the Huskers host Wisconsin in what will be his first official visit of the year.

"I'm excited, I know it's going to be a great atmosphere there," Hunt said. "I haven't scheduled any other visits yet but I'm close on a couple. Nebraska has been recruiting me hard for a while now and showing a lot of interest so I wanted to get out there and see the place for myself.

"Along with Nebraska, California, Arizona, Boise State, Oregon State, Arizona State and Washington are all recruiting me pretty hard right now. I'm going to try and take all five of my official visits before I make my decision and I don't see myself committing anywhere, any time soon."
