Is Cochran down to three?

Atwater (Calif.) Buhach Colony offensive lineman Aaron Cochran recently trimmed his list from four schools to three and has two official visits lined up.

At the end of the summer, Aaron Cochran had four schools on his list. You can now remove one of those schools from consideration.

"UCLA is now out," Cochran said. "I actually had a visit scheduled but they told me they didn't have room for me the week I was going to visit. I'm now looking at California, Oklahoma and Nebraska.

"I'm going to Nebraska in two weeks (Oct. 27) and I have a visit set for Oklahoma (Nov. 10). I haven't set a visit to Cal yet but I've been to every home game this year except the Arizona State game. I've been there a ton of times already but I still plan to take an official visit there."

Cochran took several unofficial visits in the spring/summer but the upcoming visits to Nebraska and Oklahoma will be his first.

"I haven't seen either school yet so I'm looking forward to both visits," Cochran said. "I'm sure a lot of people feel I'm a Cal lock but I'm open to all three schools. I haven't seen these other two places yet and until I do, I really can't name a favorite. That's what the visits are all about."

Cochran's older brother Matt is a current freshman at Cal and the proximity to home could be a lot to overcome but the Huskers and Sooners will give it the old college try.
