Gladney talks about visit to Nebraska

It was a big weekend for visitors in Lincoln. Nebraska hosted Michigan which gave a great opportunity for Nebraska to bring in some of their top remaining recruits and commitments in the 2013 class.

Kevin Gladney is excited about Nebraska's offense. The Nebraska commitment, a wide receiver from Akron (Ohio) Firestone, was in Lincoln this weekend for an official visit and is on his way back home.

"It went great," Gladney said. "I am at the airport now getting ready to go home. It was a great weekend. The game was great and they beat a good team."

The Huskers beat Michigan 23-9 and Taylor Martinez hit nine different receivers in the game. Gladney knows that there needs to be a lot of players in the rotation and he would like to be in a position to contribute early.

"I think that the fit is good for me and the Nebraska offense. I could come there and be a good "X" for them. Their wide receivers are good. I would like to come in and make their rotation immediately. They rotate in like seven guys."

Gladney has been in Lincoln before and really just wanted a chance to see a game and talk to some people associated with the team. In the end the visit left him wanting to get back to Lincoln soon for longer than just a weekend.

"I really wanted to just see the game after coming there this summer on an unofficial visit. I already know where to go when it comes to getting around. I wanted to meet and hangout with some of the players this weekend. I can't wait to get here."

The weekend went as well as Gladney could have hoped. Gladney and his mom had a great trip. The best part of the weekend for them was spending time with the coaches.

"The weekend was a "10". I really had a great weekend. The whole trip was really well organized. My mom and I had a fun time hanging out with the coaches."
