Henderson, 6-foot-4, 215-pounds, impressed last summer at various college camps where he picked up his first few offers. He continued that improvement this season, becoming a more complete football player.
"My junior year was great, and I did a lot better than last year," Henderson stated. "I did a lot of work on my technique, especially using my hands, and I thought I got better each week. I wanted to be more than just a pass-rusher this year, and I played the run a lot stronger."
"I'm still working on giving a maximum effort on every play and being a tougher competitor," he continued.
"I don't have any favorites, and I consider myself open at this time," Henderson said. "We played on so many Saturdays that it was tough to get out and see schools. I'd like to do that once our season is over. I'd like to get out to see Ohio State, Louisville, Michigan, Minnesota, and a few others."
"Ohio State has been coming at me recently, and I've been talking to Coach (Stan) Drayton," he noted. "They say they are interested, and tell me to keep working hard in the classroom. I'm interested in Ohio State, and I'm interested in all schools right now. That would be a great school to be offered by. I'm in no hurry to make my decision, and I will be making my decision after my senior season."
