Baker Pondering Official Visits

Adrian Baker is focused on the playoffs right now, but once the season is over this FSU commitment could visit other schools. Get the latest here.

"I am still hearing from a lot of different schools right now," Adrian Baker told Scout. "Oklahoma, Clemson, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Tennessee, and Nebraska are the main ones."

Is this Florida State commitment looking at any of those schools? "I do not know the percentage, but I am still a strong commitment to Florida State, but I may take some official visits.

"FSU is a great program, I really like Jimbo Fisher and the coaches, and they have something there that I want to be a part of.

"If I take official visits, it will be just to make sure of my decision."

If visits take place, they will be after the season, and Chaminade-Madonna opens up the playoffs this Friday against Delray American Heritage.

"I am not thinking about it [Recruiting] too much right now. I am just trying to get better, make plays, and help the team win.

"I do not get the ball thrown my way too much, so I want to stay focused, and capitalize when I have opportunities to make plays."

Baker plans to be in Tallahassee when the Seminoles host Florida on November 24.

Scout ranks the 6-foot-1, 165 pound senior as the No. 51 cornerback in the country.

Chad Simmons is currently a National Recruiting Analyst for FOX Sports/Scout. He started with Scout in 2003 and then moved on to another Recruiting Service from 2004-2008 before returning to Scout the first of 2009 to become South Recruiting Manager.
