Considering Nebraska visit?

Watch Elijah Qualls film from Petaluma (Calif.) Casa Grande and you will see an athlete. At 6-foot-2 and 279-pounds Qualls could be seen playing all over the defensive line and even in the offensive backfield. Qualls has been committed to Washington since June, but is he considering some other visits?

Nebraska has not stopped recruiting Elijah Qualls despite his commitment to Washington back in June. The 6-foot-2 and 279-pound Qualls is a four-star prospect and the No. 12 rated defensive tackle in the nation.

Word began to break earlier this week that Qualls might be considering taking some visits. He responded by text message this morning to that this was indeed true and Nebraska was one of the schools he was considering visiting.

"Yeah," Qualls wrote. "I am considering it (a visit to Nebraska)."

Qualls, from Petaluma (Calif.) Casa Grande, could be exactly what Nebraska is looking for in a defensive tackle. It's clear that Nebraska wants a junior college influence at that position in the 2013 class, but there is a big void there for a high school player.
