Taylor is "N"!

Husker fans have been waiting to see which running back Nebraska lands to be part of this potent offense. The wait is over Husker Nation. Nebraska has landed one of the top running backs in all of Texas and also the nation.

Adam Taylor is officially a Cornhusker. A source has told BigRedReport.com that Adam Taylor from Katy (Texas) has committed to Nebraska. This is on the heels of Taylor taking an official visit to Nebraska on November 10th.

A member of the Katy coaching staff confirmed the news with FOX Sports NEXT's Ahmard Vital.

Taylor's coach talked about Taylor's visit with Big Red Report last week.

"Adam told me that it was a good visit and said that he was really impressed with the facilities at Nebraska," Katy head coach Gary Joseph said.

Taylor got some glowing remarks about his ability on the field and off by his head coach in that same interview. His coach thinks that Taylor is as fine of a leader on the football field as he's ever had.

"He runs extremely hard. He's a violent runner. Adam is a downhill runner who runs north-south. We work with him primarily out of the Pro-I, do some two-back and the pistol.

"Adam is a real fine leader for this football team. He has an ability to will our kids. When we get in trouble Adam puts them on his back. He's one of the best leaders I have ever had on any of my football teams."

Taylor becomes the 15th known verbal commitment for Nebraska and is the first running back in the class. Taylor is rated a four-star prospect by Scout.com and is listed as the No. 31 running back overall in the nation. Taylor chose Nebraska over offers from LSU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Stanford and Wisconsin among others.
