Irish Keeping In Contact With Snodgrass

2014 Springfield (Ohio) wide receiver Thaddeus Snodgrass is hearing plenty from Notre Dame. We check in for the latest on where Snodgrass stands with the Irish.

Many felt Thaddeus Snodgrass was about to make a verbal pledge to Ohio State a few weeks ago. Instead, the Springfield (Ohio) wide receiver slowed down the recruiting process, giving Notre Dame a better chance of showing the 6-foot-1, 175-pound receiver what they have to offer.

"Notre Dame is picking up on me," explained Snodgrass. "I'm planning on going up there for a Junior Day visit. I'm still open to all programs and like Notre Dame a lot. They're the number one program in the country and have a great education to offer."

Who has Snodgrass been staying in contact with from the Irish coaching staff?

"I've been talking with (assistant) Coach (Mike) Elston and (assistant) Coach (Chuck) Martin," said Snodgrass. "They are telling me I'm one of their number one priorities in the 2014 class."
