Peko returns from Utah

Following Kyle Peko's official visit to Nebraska the standout junior college defensive tackle said that Nebraska and Michigan State were his top two. Now after seeing Utah his top list might be getting a little crowded.

Kyle Peko, a 6-foot-2 and 295-pound defensive tackle from Norwalk (Calif.) Cerritos College just got back from his third visit. Peko has already seen Michigan State and Nebraska. What were his thoughts about Utah?

"It went real well," Peko said. "I loved it. There wasn't a game so the weekend was a different visit. It was more about the town and the people there are Utah."

Peko said following his official visit to Nebraska last month that Nebraska and Michigan State were his top two. That wasn't much of a surprise considering those were his two official visits so far. Now Peko said that Utah and the other schools on his list are all making a push.

"Utah is up there on my list now. I really don't have a list of favorites at all. I just have the top schools that I like. That list is Utah, Nebraska, Michigan State, Boise State and Washington State."

Peko is back out on the road the next two weekends. "This week I go to Washington State and next weekend I will visit Boise State."

Peko mentioned that it was definite now that he would not be able to transfer in the spring and will have to wait until May. He said that a history class is holding him from transferring in the spring and that he now plans on signing a LOI in February.
