Illinois added the verbal commitment of another junior college prospect Tuesday.

The Illinois coaching staff is putting the finishing touches on the 2013 recruiting class, doing so by attacking the junior college ranks.

Linebacker Kyle Kragen, of Diablo Valley College (Pleasant Hill, Calif.) verbally committed to the Illini staff Tuesday, per Fox Sports recruiting analyst Allen Trieu.

Kragen is a 6-1, 225-pound middle linebacker originally from Danville, Calif., where he starred at San Ramon Valley High.

He's the 24th verbal of the '13 Illinois class and the fifth junior college recruit.

Illinois added two other JUCO players last weekend in Eric Finney and Abens Cajuste.

IlliniPlaybook will have more on this breaking story soon. But in the mean time, here are some highlights of Kragen, who really brings intensity on defense.
