Miles Commits To Nebraska

Canton McKinley defensive end Antoine Miles received an offer from Nebraska Friday afternoon, and wasted no time accepting the offer. Miles has committed to Nebraska, and will visit officially next week.

Nebraska landed a commitment from Canton McKinley defensive end Friday afternoon. The 6-foot-3, 265-pound, three-star athlete was offered by assistant coach Vince Marrow, and accepted shortly after.

"Nebraska offered me today, and Coach Marrow offered me in person," Miles stated. "I will be taking my official visit next week, and I'm very excited about how this worked out. I've researched Nebraska on the internet and this was the one I wanted. I've always wanted to play in the Big Ten, and there was no reason to wait."

"I called my mom from school and told her I was taking the offer, and she is very excited," he added. "We had talked it over, and we had decided if Nebraska offered, I was going to take it. I know a lot of Ohio players have gone there and done well, and I was so impressed with Coach Marrow."

Miles also considered offers from Cincinnati and Pittsburgh, and had schools such as Indiana and Purdue in the school this week.
