Fla WR doesn't make trip, names leader

Dominic Walker is a standout wide receiver prospect from Evans High in Orlando and Scout caught up with him to discuss the latest.

Dominic Walker recently named Nebraska and Cincinnati his top two choices. He visited Nebraska earlier this year and was set to see Cincinnati this past weekend.

"I didn't go," Walker said. "They canceled my flight because Coach Jones took the job at Tennessee. I gotta see what's up now."

Walker, 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds, said three other schools have also jumped in the mix lately.

"Nebraska of course does but Vanderbilt, FSU, and Louisville stay in contact with me a lot still too," he said.

Walker now has a single favorite, especially after Jones left Cincinnati.

"Nebraska is probably my favorite right now. I really like their program and they're coaching staff," he said. "I haven't scheduled any other visits yet but I hope to soon."

The standout receiver, who says he's unsure about his in-home visit schedule with coaches this week, would like to take a few more trips before making a final decision.
