Bowl Preview: TCU Offensive Line

What will the Michigan State defense see when they line up against TCU in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl? In our next look at the Horned Frogs we focus on the offensive line.

This past season TCU has in some ways mirrored the Spartans with their play along the offensive line as eight players have earned starts. However, for most games five players stepped forward to garner the majority of the starts.

On the right side of the line right tackle Aviante Collins is a 6-foot-6, 310 pound freshman who will line up next to senior Blaize Foltz (6-4, 300). Senior center James Fry (6-3, 305) brings great experience having started 12 games as a junior and all games this season.

Left guard has for the most part been held down by junior Eric Tausch who provided depth to the Horned Frogs over the previous two seasons at center and guard until this season. He'll line up next to sophomore Tayo Fabuluje who sat out the 2011 season after transferring from BYU. Fabuluje has great size at 6-foot-7, 215-pounds and could be tested by Spartans defensive end William Gholston.

Those who follow the TCU program feel this group has seen its ups and downs and better play is expected going forward.
