Finnin set to see Lincoln

The recruiting class for Nebraska already has one junior college commitment in their 2013 class and they are looking for a couple more. Matt Finnin from Glen Ellyn (Ill.) College of Dupage is set to see Lincoln in January.

Nebraska is looking to add some size to the offensive line. The Huskers have already picked up a huge commitment from David Knevel and now they are after 6-foot-8 and 305-pound Matt Finnin to possibly join him.

"I am set up to visit Nebraska on January 18th," Finnin said. "I have already taken one to Kansas and Maryland. I will go to Oklahoma on the 11th and Marshall on the 25th."

Finnin won't be able to see Nebraska for a game day, but he's been through the process a bit before. He's really looking for a complete fit and a place that will give him the best opportunity to come in and play.

"I just want to see the facilities, meet the coaches, the players and see how things are like. I am for a chance to come in and play right away. I am also looking for a strong relationship with the offensive line coach."

Nebraska has two offensive line coaches and Finnin says that he has seen one up at his school and has spoken with the other over the phone. He says that both have been active recruiting him to Nebraska.

"Coach Barney Cotton and Coach John Garrison have been recruiting me for Nebraska," Finnin said. "I have gotten to see Coach Garrison a couple of times up at my school. I have only spoken with Coach Cotton over the phone."
