On the move

Harrison Phillips from Omaha (Nebr.) Millard West is a name that is going to be getting a lot of press in coming weeks. His first DI offer could right around the next turn and there could be a snowball effect that follows.

Harrison Phillips is a 6-foot-3.5 and 248-pound defensive lineman from Omaha (Nebr.) Millard West. Phillips had a coming out party at the U.S. Army All-American Combine and he will be at his second junior day this year this weekend.

"I have been invited to Iowa State on Saturday," Phillips said. "I am going to speak with the coaching staff while I am there.

"I will speak with Head Coach Paul Rhodes, Curtis Bray and their recruiting coordinator Scott Fountain. We will go to a basketball game after that."

It's definitely plausible that Saturday could be the day that Phillips picks up that first offer. This coming after he was told by Nebraska to be patient about an offer from them.

Phillips just visited Nebraska for their invite only junior day and is also considering junior days at Arizona State as well as Utah State. Phillips has also expressed an interest in getting back to Lincoln for their spring game.
