Tedric Thompson Previews Last Official

With his brother Cedric playing for Minnesota, younger brother Tedric Thompson of Valencia (Calif.) has already gotten quite familiar with the Golden Gophers' campus.

Thompson has been unofficially on campus twice thus far but it will be his official visit this weekend that proves to be the most important.

"They were my first unofficial visit so it has kind of like it's come full circle," Thompson said. "They opened up a new locker room and a new indoor practice facility so I'm excited to see that stuff."

Facilities are always intriguing but Thompson says it won't be the deciding factor that could push him over the top to commit to the Golden Gophers.

"I want to hear from the coaches about the depth chart," Thompson said. "This past season they improved a lot compared to previous seasons so I just want to see how they can fit me in."

While Thompson says he will be absorbing it all in during his final official visit, he admits that his previous officials to Fresno State and Colorado are still standing out to him.

"I'm still really interested in both of them," he said. "Both are great schools turning the program around."
