Wilson impressed with Arizona visit

Nick Wilson visited Arizona this past weekend and came away impressed. Read on to see what he says about his experience, where Arizona stands, and more.

Signing Day may only be a day away, but Arizona hosted numerous juniors this past weekend in order to get a head start on the 2014 recruiting class.

One of the players in attendance was 5-foot-11, 195-pound Fresno (Calif.) Central High East running back Nick Wilson.

Wilson has been recruited by Arizona for a while now and the visit only helped his opinion of the Wildcats.

"It went great," Wilson said. "I really enjoyed myself and had fun. For one, the new facilities being built are impressive and when I come back on my official it will be done and the turf will be also. I am excited to see it all when it gets done."

In addition, Wilson and other recruits were given a presentation on the team. Wilson was shown highlights of Ka'Deem Carey and came away impressed.

"Their presentation and the highlights got me pumped," he said. "I met Ka'Deem Carey and he was a good guy. I also talked with Rodriguez and enjoyed myself."

The visit allowed Wilson to get a closer look at the Arizona campus and it seemed to have made an impact on the three-star back.

"The campus itself and the city is a big college town," he said. "The campus blew me away and it seems like a great college experience to be at."

Wilson is not yet ready to make a commitment, but he has a good idea of what the next step in his recruitment will be.

"I am waiting for more offers, but Cal, Boise State, and Arizona are my top three and I will plan my official visits during the spring," he said. "After I take my official visits to my top schools, I will probably be able to make a decision about a week after."
