6-foot-4, 215 pound junior Chris Durkin is beginning to blow up on the recruiting scene. The quarterback recently picked up his second Big Ten offer.
"Michigan State offered me," said Durkin Thursday evening. "It was a surprise. I've only been there for a game but from what I saw, I really liked it. 85,000 people and the noise just got to me."
Durkin will be back in East Lansing for a visit on February 28th.
The junior also holds offers from Bowling Green, Illinois and Toledo but says right now one school does have a lead.
"Michigan State is at the top of my list."
Durkin hopes to make his commitment before his senior season.
