John Curtis (River Ridge, LA) defensive back Terrence Alexander had a big recruiting week adding three new schools to his offer list. Those offers brings Alexander's offer total to ten.

The three latest offers for Alexander come from Georgia Tech, Indiana, and Nebraska. "I am very grateful for each and every one of them."

Terrence has been hearing from Coach Joe Speed and Coach Ted Roof at Georgia Tech. After watching film of Alexander, the Tech coaches liked what they saw from him at the cornerback position. "They will be using more press coverage this year." Tech likes Alexander at both the boundary and field corner positions.

Tech will be looking to fill some needs in the secondary in this year's class. "Coach Roof said I had the talent and with hard work and dedication, I could come in and really push for a starting job." Tech will be looking to put the best players on the field no matter their class.

Georgia Tech will be one of the schools that Alexander will continue to look at during his recruitment. "They are fairly close to home where my family can see me play home games. They also have my major (computer engineering) and I love where they are located."

Both Nebraska and Indiana love Alexander's speed. "Both schools mentioned that they would use me, to start off, as a change of pace corner in sub packages."

Terrence hopes to make at least a few official visits before he makes his college choice. "I do know by summer time I will have a top five list of schools."

When making his college choice, Alexander will be looking for schools that have his major and schools that run defensive schemes that fit him. "I want to go to a school where I can get early playing time as a defensive back or on special teams." Alexander runs kick offs back and returns punts for his high school team.
