6-foot-6, 240 pound tight end Ethan Wolf has made a name for himself on the recruiting scene. After an impressive junior season, Wolf has continue to add offers to his list, including his latest out of the ACC.
"Boston College just offered me," said Wolf Wednesday night. "Boston College has a new very energetic coaching staff and they are looking for playmakers and they think i can help them with that. I look forward to learning more in the future. I had a real nice conversation with them today."
Wolf also holds offers from Cincinnati, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina State, Pittsburgh, South Florida, Akron, Bowling Green, Ohio and Toledo.
The junior has a busy week ahead as he plans to hit the road and see some schools.
"I'm going to Tennessee on Saturday, Michigan State the following Friday and then Indiana on that Saturday."
There are many things Wolf is looking forward to about those trips.
"The Tennessee visit i am looking forward to very much. Obviously to get through all the facilities will be exciting as i know they have completed an awesome football facility and they have tons of tradition. In addition i am excited to meet with the coaching staff and to build on what we have going thus far. Coach Elder has done a great job of keeping in touch as well as Coach Stripling. It will be their first annual family day so it will be neat to see the players and their families as well."
"Michigan State is also going to be a great anticipated trip because i really enjoyed my visit there last Fall. I spoke with new Offensive Coordinator Coach Bollman on the phone as well as Coach Dantonio on Sunday and they really like what they see after film evaluation. They are excited to see me on campus.
"Indiana visit will be a nice one because i am spending the night with the players and getting to know them better. Coach Johns, Littrel, and Coach Wilson have done a marvelous job recruiting me. They are as good as they come."
As for the rest of his recruitment, there are several new schools starting to look at the tight end.
"I am hearing more from Arkansas, Penn State, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Michigan and several others. With Baseball starting up I will sneak in a second visit to Kentucky before games start. I will definitely get back to Illinois it just didn't work with my baseball schedule. Coach Golesh, Ward and Coach Beckman have been wonderful the past year and I hold them in high regard as well. This summer I will be spending time visiting the rest of the schools that are showing the most interest in me."
