"We went up to Michigan on Tuesday to meet with the coaches and tour the facilities," said Burns. "We toured the weight room and locker rooms and I honestly can say they are the best facilities I've ever seen."
Burns was quick to answer when asked if he would give the visit a score of ten.
"The visit was a perfect ten," said Burns.
While the Wolverines have yet to offer the 6-foot-7, 300-pounds product of Fairfield (Ohio) High School, the staff didn't bring him to campus to waste his time.
"Coach (Mark) Smith told me they have high interest in and wouldn't have invited me if they didn't," explained Burns. "He said they want me to come back up there and would like to see me in camp.
"Coach (Darrell) Funk, their offensive line coach said he was very impressed with my game film as he said he doesn't put a lot in highlights film. He wants me to set up a time to call him weekly and wants me to visit and camp."
While Burns didn't get a lot of time with Wolverines head coach Brady Hoke, he saw enough to be impressed.
"I only spoke with Coach Hoke for a little while," said Burns. "You can see he's a high energy guy and said they like me."
While Burns continues to see more programs show interest, he's not leaving any stone unturned and is scheduled to visit a couple of other programs in the coming weeks.
