It was another busy week with college coaches putting out a flurry of scholarship offers in the last few days. Here's the latest buzz going on out West.

*Phoenix (Ariz.) Mountain Pointe wide receiver Jalen Brown landed a big time offer out of the Big 10 from Michigan. Brown is rated the No. 49 player in the Scout 300.

*Imperial (Calif.) running back Royce Freeman has been on a nice roll lately and picked up offers in the last two days from Florida State, UCLA and Wisconsin. Freeman was RB MVP at the recent SoCal NIKE Camp.

*Los Angeles (Calif.) Dorsey athlete David Williams landed his second offer this year from Hawaii. The Warriors offered as a safety. Idaho has also offered.

*Kentfield (Calif.) Marin Catholic quarterback Morgan Mahalak landed offer No. 2 from Duke. Oregon State was the first school to offer the signal caller.

*It seems like La Mirada (Calif.) wide out Dallis Todd picks up a new offer almost every day. The latest this week came in from Arizona, Oregon State and Vanderbilt. Todd is rated the No. 131 player in the nation in the Scout 300

*Staying at La Mirada (Calif.), sophomore quarterback Kevin Dillman landed an ACC offer from Clemson and Pac 12 offers from Arizona and Washington. Dillman now has double digit offers despite not starting this past season.

*San Jose (Calif.) Bellarmine quarterback and Vanderbilt commitment K.J. Carta-Samuels landed an offer from Arizona. Carta-Samuels is currently on an unofficial visit to Vandy and said he's solid in his commitment.

*Portland (Ore.) Central Catholic defensive end Connor Humphreys added offers from Boston College and UCLA. Humphreys is also a talented offensive tackle prospect and could play on either side of the ball in college.

*Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei defensive back Jonathan Lockett added an offer from Oregon State. This is the 6th Pac 12 offer for Lockett. Lockett is the No. 218 player in the Scout 300.

*Corona (Calif.) Centennial wide out Barry Ware landed his first offer from UCLA. Ware said the Bruins are his top school and added he could make an early commitment. *Corona (Calif.) Centennial has three other players with early offers as well, headlined by defensive end Jaylen Johnson. Johnson's most recent offer was from Oregon and joins Arizona State, Boise State, and Oregon State.

- Husky defensive back John Plattenburg has offers from Boise State and Neveda and running back Tre Johnson has also been offered by Nevada.

*Fontana (Calif.) Summit wide out Erik Brown landed an offer from UCLA while on an unofficial visit Wednesday. Brown said he could make an early decision but will still take his official visits in the fall. Brown is currently rated the No. 288 player nationally in the Scout 300.

*Colorado was offer No. 1 for Lakewood (Calif.) defensive back Darren Gardenhire. Gardenhire is one of the top ballhawking safeties in the state and picked off six passes last season.

*Oceanside (Calif.) athletes Alijah Holder and his twin brother Mikah Holder landed their first Pac 12 offer from Arizona. Alijah, a corner and Mikah, a receiver were also offered by Idaho.

*Upland (Calif.) athlete Jeff Farrar landed his third Pac 12 offer from Colorado. Washington State and Utah had also offered.

*Elk Grove (Calif.) Cosumnes Oaks wide receiver Alex Van Dyke landed his 4th Pac 12 offer from UCLA. California, Oregon State and Utah have also offered. Van Dyke is the No. 224 player in the Scout 300.

*Yet another receiver offered by UCLA this week was El Cerrito's (Calif.) Jalen Harvey. That's offer No. 8 for Harvey and the Bruins have also offered linebacker D.J. Calhoun and cornerback Adarius Pickett from El Cerrito.

*Arizona will have a Junior Day this weekend and one big out of town visitor will be Novato (Calif.) San Marin quarterback Manny Wilkins. The Cats have already offered Wilkins, who's currently rated the No. 250 player in the nation in the Scout 300.
