Mid-Atlantic Quick Hitters

News and notes on some of the top prospects in the Mid-Atlantic.

  • Ashburn (Va.) Briar Woods quarterback Trace McSorley was offered by North Carolina State yesterday. The offer from the Wolfpack is No. 10 for the three-star prospect. McSorley visited North Carolina today.

  • Davidson (N.C.) Day cornerback Mike Stevens picked up an offer from UNC-Charlotte on Tuesday. He also has an offer from Kentucky.

  • Arlington (Va.) Yorktown safety M.J. Stewart visited Virginia Tech today and will be at Virginia tomorrow. He already visited North Carolina and Duke earlier this week.

  • Oklahoma offered two of the top players in Virginia yesterday – 2014 Chester (Va.) Thomas Dale safety C.J. Reavis and 2015 Richmond (Va.) St. Christopher's linebacker Ricky DeBerry. Both have double-digit offers.

  • Charlotte (N.C.) Christian wide receiver Bo Hines will visit Nebraska this weekend. He will head to Lincoln tomorrow. The following weekend (April 6), he will visit Ole Miss.
