Which Side for Lasley?

Gardena (Calif.) Serra athlete Jordan Lasley (6-2, 185), has had a pretty good spring so far, earning all-camp honors at the L.A. NFTC at receiver and then having a good showing at the Gamebreakers 7on7 last weekend in the secondary.

For Lasley, the first offer is eluding him, but when it comes in, a bigger decision will need to be made of which side of the ball will he play.

"I could play both, I really want to go as an athlete," said Lasley. "But if I had to choose, I would go as a receiver."

Lasley is part of one of the most loaded teams in the West at Serra, and schools will be shuffling through Serra this spring.

A few schools have been in regular contact with him and he has interest in several others.

"UCLA, Washington State and Colorado have all asked for my transcripts," said Lasley. "And I'm definitely interested in Oregon, Notre Dame and Michigan too. And USC of course."

In fact, the two local schools are ones that Lasley has high interest in.

"USC, its WR U, and we've had a lot of players from Serra go there," said Lasley. "And I'm very interested in UCLA and they are up and coming."

Academically, Lasley has a 3.3 and will take the SAT in the spring, after taking SAT prep classes.

This summer, Lasley plans to camp at USC and UCLA and may camp at Ohio State.
