"We actually got back last night," Pendleton said. "We left yesterday morning and were early getting to Lincoln. We were actually at the stadium by about 11:20 or so. We went to the gate and got our tickets.
"We got a chance to come in and eat lunch then then we went out onto the field. I got a chance to meet with some of the other recruits and some of the 2103 recruits. I spoke to some of them about why they chose Nebraska."
Before the game Pendleton was also watching the team going through warm-ups. He went back with the team into the locker room and came back our through the tunnel walk. He says that the tunnel walk was exciting.
"I got a chance to see the team warm up. The locker room was a real scene. The players were really fired up and ready to go. They wanted to play in that game.
"The tunnel walk was one of the coolest things I have ever seen. The whole state of Nebraska is behind this team. In the tunnel walk you can feel their support."
The offensive line had a good performance on Saturday. Pendleton has gotten to know one of the players at Nebraska pretty well. The player that he's gotten to know is just a year removed from being where Pendleton is at right now.
"I thought that the team looked great. They have a lot of young guys at the offensive tackle position. David Knevel has been great working with me and showing me around. We really get along well."
Pendleton is holding an offer from in-state Missouri. He admits that if Nebraska comes into the picture with an offer that it's going to make things interesting for him and the recruiting picture.
"If I got an offer from Nebraska it would be a huge offer. Nebraska told me and Monte Harrison that our school will be one of the first schools that they will visit. It's exciting. We will learn more over the next few weeks."
