Spring Game 1-on-1: Ciante Evans

Nebraska defensive back Ciante Evans talks to FOX Sports NEXT in this exclusive interview after the Huskers wrapped up spring ball.

One of Nebraska defensive leaders, Ciante Evans recorded four tackles for the Red team Saturday.

Even though his team came away with the win, what stood out to Evans about the spring was much deeper than that.

"I think we've made some good improvements, but I'm glad we were put in the situation that we were today with some of the young guys out there experiencing the crowd and the atmosphere," Evans said. "I'm glad we were put in that situation so they could get a feel of what it's close to being like out there in a game."

And as for the most impressive part of the Husker's defense? Evans didn't hesitate to answer.

"Of course I'm going to say secondary because I play there, but overall, we've all come together and we've been accountable for one another," Evans said. "I think that the linebackers are going to be good this year and so is the defensive line."
