East St. Louis (IL) 2014 Linebacker prospect and Missouri Tigers target takes in Mizzou practice and talks to ShowMeMizzou.com about his experience on the day and where his recruitment is at.

East St. Louis (IL) LB Kyron Watson 6'1" 225 made the trip over to Columbia (MO) along with his head coach Darren Sunkett and teammates Greg Taylor and 2015 DE Terry Beckner 6'4" 270.

ShowMeMizzou.com spoke to Watson following his unofficial to get his thoughts on the experience.

"It was good. It was real good," said Watson. "The facilities were good. We broke up to attend position meetings. We got to see practice, which was very fast and physical. We saw everything there was to see, and I liked it."

Watson spoke about what stood out to him most on the day.

"I would say practice and talking to the coaches. I like coach Stec and how he coaches. He is a real good guy and  he coaches with a lot of fire. The linebackers look good. They were working on getting better with their pass coverage. Everybody is big and fast. It was fun"

With offers from Missouri along with Michigan, Syracuse, Illinois, Minnesota, Purdue, Iowa State, Kansas and Indiana, Watson isn't in a hurry to make a commitment anywhere just yet.

" I can't really decide yet, ‘said Watson. "I don't really have a timeline for when I want to have a decision by. I might want to take a few or all of my official visits, or I might commit sometime in the spring or summer. It depends on when it feels right and when a particular school stands out to me."

He does know however what he is looking for in a school to help him decide.

"How they are as family along with academics and football. Those will be the main things."

Up next for Watson is Kansas' spring game this coming Saturday.
