Huskers offer Ragnow

There were some thoughts that if any new offers were extended during the Nebraska spring game that Frank Ragnow might pick one up. Ragnow didn't get one that weekend, but didn't have to wait long to finally get one.

Frank Ragnow from Chanhassen (Minn.) has quietly been having a very successful evaluation period. Over the weekend he picked up offers from Missouri and Pittsburgh. Today the 6-foot-6 and 285-pound offensive tackle picked up an offer from Nebraska.

"I am pretty pumped!" Ragnow said. "Last week Coach Barney Cotton came to my school and they told my coach that they would like me to camp to get an offer. He went back to Nebraska and spoke to Coach John Garrison about how good I was looking.

"Coach Garrison made the trip here today to see me. He went out and saw me show shot at track practice. He told my coaches that he saw what he needed to see from me and that they were offering."

Ragnow visited Nebraska for their spring game. Ragnow had great things to say about Nebraska following his trip. The three-star prospect and the No. 35 offensive tackle in the nation said to BigRedReport.com why he liked Nebraska so much.

"I am very excited about this offer. I like all of the coaches at Nebraska. I also like their strength and conditioning coaches. Their academics and academic support for their athletes are top-notch. Last, but not least, their fan base is crazy."
