Williams hits double digits

McKinney (Tx) receiver T.V. Williams added a tenth offer from Tulsa Monday and, with the evaluation period upon us in the Lone Star, looks to keep rolling.

"Tulsa offered today," reported T.V. Williams following McKinney's first spring practice Monday afternoon.

"They came out along with Kentucky, North Texas and Baylor, and after practice they told Coach Smith that I have an offer."

It makes offer No. 10, joining Houston, Nebraska, California, Kentucky, Oregon State, North Texas, Texas State, Navy and South Alabama on the table for the 5-foot-10, 150-pound speedster.

"It feels amazing [to finally hit double digits]," said Williams. "I mean, this time last year or even five months ago, I would've never imagined this. I just feel so blessed."

Hard to imagine he only carries one in-state offer.

Was hard for Williams once, too.

"I thought about it a lot at first, but the college coaches' mind is just too hard to try and figure out… I just decided to go put in all the work I can and if they want me, good. If not, I know that I have prepared myself for whatever comes."

This said, Baylor continues to closely evaluate, as well as SMU and Texas Tech. SMU and Tech are scheduled to be by the school later this week, as well as Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Arkansas, Oregon, UTSA and Duke.

Keep it on FSNext for more on Williams and others in the '14 class.
