Thinking about official visits

Naijiel Hale and his Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco teammates are out on the field for spring practices looking forward to the fall. Hale admits there are some big expectations for his team this fall.

Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco cornerback Naijiel Hale is coming to grips of this spring being his last of his high school career. There are some high expectations for the 5-foot-11 and 170-pound cornerback and his team this fall.

"It's great to be back out there," Hale said about being out on the practice field. "I still can't believe that it's going to be my senior season. There are some big expectations for me and my team this year. We have some new weapons and have a lot of guys returning."

Hale says that there have been a number of teams to come by his high school recently. The teams that have come out to see him have really wanted to verify his size because Hale says they have seen how he plays on film.

"A couple of schools that were just here were USC, Oregon, Nebraska, San Jose State, Fresno State and some others. Most teams are just coming in to see me, see how tall I am and how I look. All of the teams know how I play from my film." There are no trips set up up for Hale as the spring wraps up or even for this summer. However he is thinking about the official visits that he wants to make this summer and there are three schools that he says should get an official visit.

"I don't have any trips sets up right now. I am going to start thinking about and setting up some official visits for this fall soon. I will definitely be taking an official visit to Arizona and I might take one to California and also to Nebraska."

There is almost a double-digit offer total for Hale. There are a couple of schools that just stopped by to see Hale that he says are close to offering.

"I know that the last one I received was from Akron. There are a couple of schools that say they might be offering soon. USC and Oregon say they are going to offer. Until those two teams or someone else comes in and offers I am still at eight total offers right now."
