Big 10 School Offers Kalu

FOX Sports NEXT has the update on Alief Taylor defensive back Josh Kalu, who got a big offer from a Big 10 program.

It seems as though it has become a common theme for Houston (TX) Alief Taylor defensive back Josh Kalu to get new offers from Division I programs. A big one from the Big 10 came in today.

"Nebraska offered Kalu," a member of the Taylor coaching staff informed FOX Sports NEXT.

The Huskers add to a list for the 6-foot-2, 180-pound Kalu which includes Duke, UTSA, Washington State, SMU, Colorado and Wake Forest. Kalu has been gaining the attention of several recruiters throughout the process.

Especially as of late.

"It feels good to know that so many people see talent in me," Kalu said in a previous interview.

Last season Kalu had 44 tackles, an interception and two blocked field goals. He was also named the defensive newcomer of the year.
