"We got the game in on Wednesday," Hall said. "The defense dominated as usual. I just went out there and did my thing. I came downhill from the secondary to make plays, made some tackles and I also jumped some routes. It felt good."
Hall will be entering the summer as a player that people are looking toward for direction and some leadership. He took a big step in that direction in the spring and he says that he's focused on the whole team making improvements.
"I think that I did well stepping up into that leadership role that I will have to on the defense. I helped out with the younger guys just trying to lead and be their captain. When you make one side of the ball better and the other side has to see that in defense the whole team improves."
The Nebraska commitment knew that as soon as he came off of the board that there would be some offers that would find their way to him. The day after he commits to the Huskers he picks up a Big XII offer and days later he got another Big Ten offer. He says that he's committed, but wants to see which teams offer.
"I am a very good, solid commit to Nebraska. But, I am not turning away any schools when it comes to them offering. I just like to see what comes in. Not everyone gets a big time offer like I did from Nebraska."
Hall committed to Nebraska sight unseen and says that he's trying to get up to Lincoln in June. He's looking for a way to get up there right now and says that there are definitely some things he wants to check out.
"I am still trying to find a way to get up to Lincoln in June for Big Red Weekend. I want to meet the coaches, se the campus, see the town and get to meet some of my future teammates."
Hall earned 7-5A Honorable Mention All-District honors for his performance as a junior in 2012. At the Dallas NFTC Hall posted a 4.73 40-yard dash, a 4.31 pro-shuttle and an overall Sparq Score of 88.26.
