T.V. Williams 5'10" 150 lbs WR
Williams is a legit 3 star prospect who holds12 offers from big time programs across the nation. With true WR speed, he has the ability to attack deep while still being able to make plays in open space.
Williams is hearing a lot of interest from out of state programs: Kentucky, Oregon St, Nebraska, Tulsa, and Cal. Houston and UTSA are also showing heavy interest.
"UTSA's program is going to be really good," said Williams. "They have great coaches, UTSA is certainly in the mix. To be a part of an upcoming program and building tradition would be amazing."
Williams is limiting his summer camp visits because he did participate in a ton of them last summer. He was invited to UTSA's camp there is a strong likelihood he will attend.
Kennan Samuel 6'2" 225 lbs OLB
Samuel is in the mold of what defensive coordinator Neal Neathery like with his Hard Hat D. Samuel is extremely quick and has very good technique.
"I'm quick off the ball and have violent hands," said Samuel. "I'm explosive and I wrap up when I tackle."
While Samuel has no offers, he planning on camping at UTSA and other places this summer. He has also received interest from Georgia, Stanford, Baylor, Alabama, and Boise St.
David Tachie 6'2" 285 lbs OG
Tachie is an interior lineman in the mold of McKinney Alum Nate Leonard. Tachie possesses the aggressiveness necessary to mix things up in the middle. He also has quick enough feet to make up with some of his lack of size.
"I know UTSA is a new program, but I like them," said Tachie. "I'm friends with Nate Leonard. We're similar type of players."
Tachie has no offers but UTSA, Nebraska, Texas Tech, OSU, and Az St have shown interest.
UTSA staff evaluated Tachie at practice recently and told him they would keep an eye on him.
Austin Tankersley 6'0" 205 lbs OLB
Tankersley is the mold what UTSA likes in the strong safety/hyrid linebacker. He is a very good athlete who flies around the field.
Because of his high GPA and ACT scores, Cornell, Princeton and Harvard have all shown interest.
"I really like UTSA's coaching staff," said Tankersley. "Coach Coker is a great coach and the entire staff seems very good as well."
Tankersley took an academic visit during Spring Break and loves the campus. He has continued to have steady contact with UTSA coaches.
