Is UTSA An Option
IRS has confirmed that Zach Ledwik of La Grange HS (TX) does have an offer from the UTSA staff. The coaches reached out last week over the phone and let him know that they would like to see him in the blue and orange. Ledwik did visit campus for the junior day, but contact since then has been sparse. The offer took him somewhat by surprise as he hadn't heard much from the staff. "I haven't really talked with anyone other than the phone call for the offer," said Ledwik. With schools such as Nebraska, Texas Tech, Baylor and other established BCS schools, UTSA has an uphill fight. "I'll be honest, UTSA is behind some of the bigger, historic schools," said Ledwik. Ledwik doesn't have a list of favorites yet and is wanting to take some of his time to go through the process. One thing he does know is that he won't wait until NSD for a decision. Look for him to commit sometime after the season or in January.
