Trip to Nebraska in doubt

The next two weeks are looking promising for Nebraska when it comes to the visitors that they will be hosting. This visitor, who was supposed to be in Lincoln on Friday, might have to cancel though.

Nebraska will have their quarterback camp this week and one of the highly anticipated campers was going to be Kendrick Doss. Doss, a 6-foot-2 and 205-pound, dual-threat quarterback from Florence (Ala.) might have to reschedule his visit to Lincoln.

"I don't know for sure if I will take that visit," Doss said. "I am having surgery tomorrow to remove all four of my wisdom teeth. I just can't wait anymore on this.

"And it breaks my heart that I can't make the visit because I can't reschedule the visit anytime soon. I can't make it another weekend in the month of June. I might have to do it in July."

Doss says that while he might not be able to make the trip to Nebraska this weekend, but he wants to take a visit to Nebraska soon. There are definitely some things that Doss is looking forward to seeing when it comes to what the Huskers have to offer.

"I am really looking forward to visiting Nebraska," Doss said. "I want to get a chance to meet all of the staff and talk with the head coach. I also want to have a look around the town and the campus. I have heard a lot about how great the fans are in Nebraska."

As a junior Doss had 1,743 yards passing with 16 touchdowns and five interceptions with a 59-% completion percentage. Doss also had 1,202 yards rushing and another 21 rushing touchdowns.
