Bishop Gorman trio set to visit Nebraska

Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman is always stacked. This year they have a ton of talent returning on both sides of the football. Three of those returners will make their way to see Nebraska next week.

Alize Jones from Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman is a highly sought after 2015 recruit. The 6-foot-4.5 and 215-pound tight end has camp plans next week at one of the schools that has already offered him.

"I am going to camp at Nebraska," Jones said. "I know that I leave to go to Nebraska on June 13th and come back on Sunday. I do camp on the 14th and Big Red Weekend on the 15th."

Jones doesn't know a lot about what is in store for him in Lincoln beyond working out during the camp. Big Red Weekend is another junior day type event that the Nebraska staff started doing last year after school got out.

"My coach, Tony Sachez, didn't tell me a lot about what Big Red Weekend is all about other than it's like a junior day. He is coming with me that weekend for the visit."

Besides his head coach, Jones says that he's bringing some more company along with him. Two of his Bishop Gorman teammates, one who has an offer and another looking for an offer, will be in attendance that weekend as well.

"Two of my teammates are coming too. Nick Gates who has a Nebraska offer and defensive tackle Zack Singer are both coming. Singer doesn't have a Nebraska offer, but he's a great defensive tackle. He should be a team captain this fall."
