Temple Lands North Jersey QB Nutile

Temple landed its quarterback in the 2014 class when Don Bosco Prep's (Ramsey, N.J.) Frank Nutile made the call, and he explained to FOXSportsNEXT why he did it.

Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, N.J.) quarterback Frank Nutile planned to camp at a handful of schools this month, but that changed after he was at Temple over the weekend.

The 6-foot-4, 210-pound Nutile was offered by the Owls, and he committed to coach Matt Rhule on Wednesday night.

"I love the staff," he said. "They're great a bunch of coaches I want to surround myself with. I love the offense they're putting in place there."

The fact Temple has NFL-experienced coach Matt Rhule, who brought in the Giants' offense, is also appealing to Nutile.

"Running Kevin Gilbride's offense, it doesn't get any better than that for a pro style quarterback like me," Nutile said. "It's a great fit all around and I'm looking forward to playing under coach Rhule and the whole staff."
