Lee excited about Nebraska offer

Eric Lee makes his way back to Lincoln for a one-day camp at Nebraska. The Nebraska staff was so impressed with what they saw they extended an offer to the 2015 cornerback.

Nebraska saw what they needed to see today from 2015 cornerback Eric Lee from Highlands Ranch (Colo.) Valor Christian. The standout junior cornerback has been to Nebraska earlier this year for the spring game, but was in Lincoln today for a camp session which led to an offer.

"Yes, I just picked up an offer from Nebraska," Lee said. "I thought that I performed well today and showed Coach Terry Joseph what I could do with my feet and my hips."

Lee said that Coach Joseph and he worked well today. Lee knew most of the drills they did today and to help Coach Joseph familiarize himself with Lee he tried to be the first in every line before every drill showing leadership and desire.

"I think that Coach Joseph and I really worked well together today. I was familiar already with many of the drills that we ran today which helped. I also tried to be the front of the line each time for each drill."

The offer from Nebraska is a big one. Lee has lived in Nebraska and has ties to the state and the university. He views each offer he has now and might receive as tremendous opportunities.

"The offer from Nebraska makes them my second offer. I also have an offer from Colorado. It's a big offer from Nebraska, but every offer is a tremendous opportunity."

Lee will be on the road this weekend going to another camp. There was a Valor Christian teammate with Lee today and one was in Nebraska's camp earlier this week.

"I am going to Arizona State with Avery Anderson and a couple of his friends. I was with my teammate Ryan Cummings today and Alec Ruth was here on Tuesday for camp."
