"I was at Nebraska's camp on Thursday," Strong said. "It was pretty good. My teammates and I thought that we all performed pretty well while we were there. I worked out as a running back with the juniors and seniors so I got double reps."
After camp on Thursday, Strong went back to Lincoln for Big Red Weekend. Strong has seen what Nebraska has to offer a number of times before. But, there was one thing that he got a chance to see a little more closely than before.
"I have obviously been to Nebraska before a couple of times. It was good like every time has been. I did get a chance to see some of the stadium upgrades and expansion a little bit more than I have before. It was good."
Nebraska seems to be just the first school that Strong plans or hopes to visit. He says that he will be in North Texas soon and when he's in Dallas he would like to get out and see some other schools in the area.
"I want to go out and see some other schools. I will be in Dallas for an Under Armour camp. While I am there I would like to get out and see some schools, but I am not sure which schools I would go to see."
Strong let Nebraska know that he plans go get out and see some other places. The standing message was 'don't forget about us'. It's clear that Nebraska wants to keep tabs on the talented junior-to-be and wants to know how things go for him on these upcoming trips.
"Nebraska definitely cares about me as an athlete and as a student. They want me to keep them in mind as I go out and see these other schools. They have a great situation there with Bo Pelini and Ron Brown. They just don't want me to forget about them."
