The 4th of July is providing some fireworks for Nebraska. First it was Freedom Akinmoladun from Grandview (Mo.). The second to fall was another from the Show-Me-State.
The 11th known commitment in the class for 2014 came in about an hour after the 10th became public. Monte Harrison from Lee's Summit (Mo.) West has gone from having a quiet summer on the recruiting front to being a Nebraska commitment.
Out of 11 known commitments for Nebraska in the class of 2014 Harrison is the seventh on the offensive side of the football as well as the second wide receiver. Harrison joins Freedom Akinmoladun from Grandview (Mo.), a tight end, who committed to Nebraska about an hour earlier.
